Released to tout the British band's third studio album, Absolution, the four minute "Hysteria" clip finds a shirtless Theroux, 40, starring as a creepy stalker who awakes in a hotel room to discover he met with a prostitute. When his encounter goes sour, Theroux's character trashes the hotel room in a sexed-up fit of rage.

The "Hysteria" clip -- for Kate Hudson's beau Matt Bellamy's group -- isn't the first time Theroux's been cast as a bad boy.
He briefly appeared in season one of HBO's Sex and the City as Jared, a playboy whom Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) flirts with at a bar. The following season, he returned -- with shorter hair -- as an author named Vaughn who suffered from premature ejaculation in an episode entitled "Shortcomings."

@Frank Garrett. when has jen said anything mean about brad or angelina? and when has she ever said a bad thing about either one aside from when they were in the process of getting a divorce and he took a photoshoot with angelina where they posed as a fake family insensitively? she has every right to say every bad thing about them that she wants, but she doesn't. you seem to be stalking Rita Byrne's post, pretty creepy. Brad does look old beyond his age, at least 10 years older then he actually is, and just 6 years ago, i would've said he looks younger then he actually is, he seems to be aging 3 years for every one year that's passing. after seeing the new magazine cover he was on, i see he's now doing the "pouty-lip, i'm confused about where i am" look that angelina always does. there are plenty of men out there that are dads and look young and hot (ex. david beckham, 4 kids, still super hot), he just doesn't age well, but that's ok, cuz even though his good-looking days are long gone, its' not like he's single and has anyone to impress. stop getting all self-righteous on a gossip site.
@sophie allen, i'd kinda wanna know in what way justin is "small" when he's the same height as brad pitt. well excuse jen for being so happy that she's always smiling. i smile all the time with my hubby, people even ask me jokingly if my face hurts from it. doesn't mean i'm faking it, i just love being with the man i love. didn't know couples have to be serious all the time. justin didn't cheat on heidi, there was an article about his ex-girlfriend's mother giving an interview while they were shooting their movie, and heidi was being called his ex-girlfried in every magazine, meaning he was single when they got together, but i didn't know you were such good freinds with him that he told you this was false information, and that he did indeed cheat on her. he didn't cheat, no harm done. of course it's going to hurt heide to see him move on, but he has, and maybe it helped her realize their on-and-off-relationship was finally over, she's a pretty woman, she's find someone else. justin is "almost as hot as brad" please he far exceeds him. and he's not aging at warped speed. justin is very successful, he's a director and actor. if jen wants to get married, more power to her, if not, then let it be.
It's funny though that Jennifer fans can bring up Brad and Angelina on stories talking specifically about them but when people even try to question something that Jen has done, it's completely off limits. Even if Justin didn't cheat with Jen while he was in a relationship, it still has to hurt the ex girlfriend. 14 years is a long time, longer than most marriages. People try to justify it by saying they weren't married. So you're telling me if Angelina went with Johnny Depp or Kurt Russell it would be ok? Please. The only reason women keep giving Jen free passes is because of her break up. She is not the only one who has gone through a divorce, it has been how many years? It's time to get over it darling.
I think Sophie is wrong to even mention Brad's name. This story is of Justin, not Brad. They are two separate people. I do think it is quite scary that Rita would say that Brad looks like an "old pedo with pouty lips". I don't think that saying people look like pedophiles is a joke whatsoever. I don't know why someone would even try to make a joke using such a serious term. And yes, Justin looks younger than Brad. He's, what, forty? Brad's forty seven and and six children, excuse him if he doesn't look as young as he did years ago.
