Fans who are patiently awaiting the upcoming fall release of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire were able to get an interactive behind the scenes look at the second installment of the series at this year’s Comic-Con in San Diego, thanks to Facebook and Instagram.
On Saturday, July 20, Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, and Josh Hutcherson appeared on a panel to answer a series of fan questions. The questions were sent in live with the hashtag “Catching Fire Comic Con.”
Asked what the most difficult stunt was on-set, Lawrence, 22, joked that it was “probably basic running,” telling the audience that she is a horrible runner. The good-natured star added that while she didn’t diet for the film, her role involved plenty of rigorous physical activity and was a workout in itself.
In addition to giving fans a chance to reach out to their favorite Hunger Games actors, Lionsgate exclusively revealed their Katniss and Peeta Quarter Quell poster on the film’s Facebook page.
Newcomer Jena Malone also got in on the interactive action, giving fans and followers a glimpse at a day in her life at the convention via Instagram.
The actress, who will play District 7 competitor Johanna Mason, shared snapshots of her busy day, including photos of excited fans and a very pulled-together Willow Shields, who plays Primrose Everdeen in the adventure flicks.
“I love this girl sooo much!” she captioned an adorable snap of the pair holding hands.
