Baby makes two? Candis Cayne decided to adopt a child, as Caitlyn Jenner bonded up a storm with both Kris Jenner and Scott Disick during the Sunday, April 17, episode of E!'s I Am Cait. Meanwhile, the former Olympian met with a doctor to discuss gender confirmation surgery, and asked some seriously candid questions.

Kris + Cait = Friends Forever

If there's one thing we've learned from Kris Jenner's '80s music video, it's that she loves her friends (she loves them!) — and Caitlyn is officially joining the group. The Kardashian momager and her ex were on great terms during this episode, but Kris did confront Caitlyn about not being there for the family. "You forget that there's also things that are really sad that are going on at home," Kris tearfully said before reminding Cait about Lamar Odom's health crisis, Kim Kardashian's pregnancy woes, and the illness Kendall Jenner picked up in Brazil. "Sometimes you check out."

Caitlyn seemed concerned and agreed that she could make more of an effort, so it looks like these two are on the same page!

Wait, Were Kris and Cait Ever Actually Married?

Caitlyn told Kris that she'd legally changed her name, and the momager was shocked to realize that — at least on paper — Bruce Jenner had disappeared. "Wait a second. Does this mean that he didn't exist?" Kris asked. "That you changed the birth certificate? Wait, was I ever married? Was I legally married?"

Cait's answer? "Yes. I would like to think of it as, that person still lives inside me, and that today I'm a better person because of him."

Speaking of being a better person, Caitlyn apologized to Kris, saying, "I just wanna apologize I think for a lot of the times, the way I acted. Didn't have to be that way. I think going forward from here, I would always want you in my life." Awww, cute! Though, Caitlyn also joked about renewing their wedding vows, at which point Kris deadpanned, "What?"

Pssst: For anyone thinking this exchange was somewhat flirty, Candis is right there with you. "They still have a little thing together," she told Kate Bornstein. "You know what I mean?"

Baby, Oh!

Candis came to the realization that she doesn't need man to be a mom and decided to start the adoption process. The problem? To adopt a baby, Candis needs to disclose the fact that she's transgender — which opens her up to serious discrimination. "I don't think I can handle trying to go into motherhood and being rejected by office buildings, and the government, and potential mothers," she said. "I don't know if I can do that."

Kris ended up giving Candis solid advice, explaining that getting pregnant and/or adopting is a struggle for cis women and trans women alike, and that she shouldn't let potential discrimination get her down. "If that's in your heart, you should just go for it," Kris said. "Because it brings unbelievable joy."

Oh, and in other news, Kris' home was broken into shortly before filming this episode, and she regaled Candis with the harrowing story: "A guy comes barreling into my office and he says, 'Can I have a hug and a kiss?' … He went all over my house looking for me. I was scared to death." #Drama

Will Caitlyn Go Through With Gender Confirmation Surgery?

Caitlyn isn't quite ready to open up about gender confirmation surgery (she repeatedly said the issue made her "uncomfortable"), but she did sit down with Dr. Marci Bowers to discuss the procedure. "Probably the most private thing for a trans person to talk about is probably way down there what's happening," Caitlyn explained. "But, why not [talk to] Marci?"

Dr. Bowers explained the surgery for both Caitlyn and TV viewers who are confused about what's involved. "Everything that a man has a woman has as well," she said. "Really, that's the basis of the surgery. Is that embryologically, there is a transition from female anatomy to male anatomy. When you're doing the reverse, you simply undo all those steps."

Caitlyn asked if her "sexual experience" would still be the same, and Dr. Bowers confirmed that the "vast, vast majority" of people are still able to orgasm because — as Caitlyn explained — "the clitoris is the head of the penis."

So, will Caitlyn go through with gender confirmation surgery? It's unclear. "I have no idea what the future holds, but it is really interesting to talk about this issue," she said.

Checking in on Scott Disick

The Lord is back! Scott Disick spent the day decorating for the holidays with Caitlyn, and he got real about his sobriety after his split with Kourtney Kardashian and stint in rehab. "I'm obviously not drinking or doing drugs," he said. "So, I'm just alone with my thoughts every night, and it's tough."

Scott also told Caitlyn that he hopes to reconcile with Kourtney. "I think that that would be, like, the dream," he said. "End of the day, I would love to see us work everything out, and be in love again, and watch movies together, and be intimate, and love each other, and be best friends. But I also don't want to just rush into something that doesn't make sense."

Tell Us: Do you think Scott and Kourtney will get back together?

I Am Cait airs on E! Sundays at 9 p.m. ET.
