Idol's Crystal Bowersox Split With Beau Day Before Finale

Not only did Crystal Bowersox lose American Idol, she also lost her boyfriend Tony.
On Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show Thursday, she revealed that they quietly ended their relationship this week on performance day.

"He wasn't cool with the lifestyle," she explained. "I didn't break up with him. It was a mutual thing. It's cool, though. We're both logical, grown adults."
The Elliston, Ohio, native, 24, said that despite being a small town girl, "I want this career, this lifestyle, more than anything, and I didn't think he was up for it. He didn't think he was up for it. I'm a little sad he did it on performance day, but than again, it set that fire in my belly."

Although she said she "was hoping he'd come to the finale," where she was named runner-up, she said he was probably "driving" on his way back to Ohio.
Bowersox, who has a son from a previous relationship, won't have time to miss him.

Asked what she'll be up to next, she told UsMagazine.com: "Tour! We go on tour, do some more press, hopefully record an album while on tour ... Now the real work begins. My life is never going to be the same, and I’m ready for all of it."

To all the immature, uneducated individuals saying comments about Crystal's appearance..well..how about letting us see your appearance. Do you have cosmetically, perfect teeth?? Judging by the grammatical errors in the comments, I do not think we are talking about attorneys, doctors, engineers here. The professions that are economically capable of affording cosmetic care.

Never heard of her or watched Idol but she obviously thought she was going to win and be this huge star which is why she dumped him. She has egg all over her face and guitar! ROTFLMAO!!!!

i predict that like a lot of runner ups in idol that she will outperform him as a star...she has more talent and wants it more, you're oing places irl, hang in there. Dumpimg you pn perfprmance day is his way of sabotaging you to go back to small life when your life is meant to be big...follow your dreams, the small town will always be there...hope you are the next jennifer hudson type career.
The same 12 year olds who voted for Lee are taking over this site and trashing Crystal. Crystal is so incredibly talented! Haters will always hate. The girl Lia who trashed Crystal doesn't even know how to spell correctly so she needs to get her GED instead of trashing Crystal. No worries! Crystal and her talent are set for life. She doesn't need a fair weather boyfriend who clearly didn't want to support her on the most important day of her life.

Be a Mom- I applaud her for going out and trying to make a better life for her and her son. What better options do you think she has than being a professional singer? So many people are just waiting to bash single mother's pursuing their dreams. My guess is you don't have children and you don't know what it's like to want more for them. This girl has talent like no one has seen in a while, she is the modern day Janis Joplin. People can bash her all they want about her teeth, her hair, etc. I guarantee she has more talent than anyone on this board bad mouthing her. And look at all of the other Idol people before they were famous, for instance Carrie Underwood, she was at least 20 lbs. heavier and definitely just average looking. A good makeover can do wonders. She'll go far and probably make enough money to cover dental work for half the kids in her home town whose parents may be unable to afford it. What are you nay-sayers? Jealous? Pathetic!
Jesus Chrystal! Be a mom! You got knocked up, now stay home and take care of your baby! Forget the "lifestyle" and wanting to be a famous singer, you have a responsibility to take care of that son, not abandon him with your family while you are on the road. How sucky.
