Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino has already made his mark on reality TV, and now the Jersey Shore star has his sights set on box office stardom.

"Hopefully by the end of the year I'll be in a movie," Sorrentino, 28, tells E! News.

But Shore fans don't need to fret just yet. Sorrentino says he'll remain on TV for "another year or so" before shifting his time and talents to the big screen.

"It's like Michael Jordan," he says. "There's only so long you can keep winning them rings. There's only so long you can rule the reality world."

For now, DWTS alum Sorrentino is focused on filming season 4 of Jersey Shore in Italy.

"I'm actually gonna get me some Rosetta Stone" to learn Italian, Sorrentino tells E! "I got two months to learn it. My name comes from Italy so I've got a little bit of heritage there. Plus, maybe I can get a hometown Italian chick."

Season 4 of MTV's Jersey Shore is set to air later this year.
