Jersey Shore's Snooki to Boycotters: "F*** You!"

Apparently, Jersey Shore star Nicole Polizzi (a.k.a. "Snooki") isn't worried about those negative stereotypes.

When Steppin' Out magazine asked her what she would say to all the companies -- including Domino's and Dell -- who have pulled advertising from the controversial MTV reality show about Italian-American 20-something "guidos," she had a simple reply.
"I just have one thing to say to Domino's, Dell, UNICO and all the other haters out there," she yelled. "F*** you! If you don't want to watch, don't watch. Just shut the hell up! I'm serious... F*** you!"

UNICO, the Italian-American organization that first claimed the show perpetuates negative stereotypes, has no plans to stop pressuring sponsors to boycott the series.
"She is not an embarrassment to Italian Americans -- she is actually an embarrassment to the entire human race!!!!" UNICO said in a statement.

Italian-American civic groups and advertisers aren't the only ones bashing MTV's series. Even the New Jersey beach town that is home to the series said this week that it doesn't "solicit" or "promote" the filming of Jersey Shore.

Love how all of the people that are loving on snookie have horrible grammar, spelling, and act so classy by cussing back at everybody else too. Only stupid people can have the ability to love other idiots. Domino's, who was not mentioned in this interview, is probably the company that describes this best. "Our first response was, 'What a classy young lady—her parents must be so proud... There's no need to get into a war with this young girl, because tick-tock, her fifteen minutes are almost up."

Greg is right on the money. Chile's population is majority white, as are the populations of neighboring Argentina (97%) & Uruguay (93%). (The majority of the people in those two countries have at least partial, if not full, Italian ancestry.) She may, in fact, be "Spanish" if her real ancestry is fully or predominately from Spain. In any case, she's certainly white.

Actually, I can confirm (sadly) that the "guidos" and "guidettes" of Brooklyn really do act like that....HAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH. Hi, Greg. I hate to interrupt your smug, smarmy, Americans-are-so-stupid-that-they-don't-even-understand-there-are-Italians-in-Chile rant, but pause for a moment. Snookster told OK Magazine she was adopted. And that she's "Spanish." There is no indication, nor indeed any reason to believe, that she is ethnically Italian. Her adoptive parents are indeed Italian ("Polizzi" is uber-Italian) but Snookums herself is not, in fact, of ethnic Italian descent. The rest of the idiots on this show apparently are, but she is not. She said this herself. Get THAT through your smug, rampantly stereotyping head.
This show gets attention thatâ??s what realty shows or any show for that matter is measured byâ?¦. Get the ratings make the money. PPL tend to take things way to personal these days thinking that some people on a reality show effects how people in society portray them as a whole. I love this show! I'm an Italian American and I can tell a Reality TV Show when I see one! The Funny or Die video clip showing them re-hearsing their parts is hysterical! Pauly D with his British accent and The Situation having such anst over always having to show is abbs....haha
