Another Jersey Shore scandal.
On Thursday's episode of the hit MTV show, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino raised his hand to Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi when she refused to leave the club. "Don't f---ing slap me in the face and tell me that I need to go home," she snapped.

But The Situation, 28, tells MTV News he was only trying to protect her and would never hit her.
"Snooki sometimes drinks a little too much," he says. "She is unaware of her surroundings and unaware of what's going on. Everybody was leaving, and she was the only one staying there. We usually go as a group and stay as a group. To avoid what happened in season one [Snooki, 22, was punched in the face by a bar patron], I really wanted to try and keep an eye on her and not necessarily slap some sense into her, but let her know, 'Hey, you can't be here by yourself. You're a little girl, and the whole group was leaving.' It was a little love tap."

Though he says he probably "went about it the wrong way," he tells MTV, "It's not like I punched somebody in the face. It's not like I did a full smack, a hard smack. It was a little tap to her cheek. Like, 'Wake up, you're going to get hurt.' And if you care for somebody, that is definitely acceptable, because you're looking out for somebody."

13she is an alcoholic...if she does not straighten up...they should dump her sorry ass...no good role model...Situation did well on dwts...he worked hard...showed his other side...good for him!
why would he lie like that. first,m wasn't anybody ready to go but him he was mad cause he couldn't get play with any girls at the club everybody else was having fun and wasn't ready to leave. second, why smack her in the mouth and tell her let' go he could atleadt gab her shoulder and said just leave he hit nicole in the mouth because he knew she wasn't going fight back which she need to start doing beacuse his 65 year old look self wouldn't did one of the other girls like that they would've knock im out
Why don't they worry more when the girls get in fights with one another? Far worse than what Mike did...I think he has finally realized that he has grown away from the cast mates and has to move on and maybe he wants Snookie to move on to because hanging out in bars and looking for guys to take home is not what I would want for a friend. He is the break out guy and she could be the break out girl if she doesn't blow it..It is wrong for a guy to hit a woman but is it just as wrong for the women...
I dont care what his reason you DONT EVER hit a woman . period. these two seriously I think have it bad for each other I want them to hook up so bad!
dont worry sitch the haters dont realize this show is fake and scripted and edited for ratings.... its freakin tv people damn get over it its sad if you believe thats real life lol... your tru fans lov you keep your head up
That's not how it happened. He was creepily staring at Vinny and his girl like a freak. He was upset that he wasn't able to snatch Vinny's girl... so after the creep down stare he thought he would take Vinny's sloppy seconds and tried to kiss Snooki and if you pay attention you can see him creepily trying to put his hand up her dress. She wasn't having it so he smacked her mouth. CREEP! I was shocked that Snooki didn't tell Jwoow what happened so she could handle the situation.
No love taps, taking her hand would have been more appropriate.
Cant stand him
He's always been a scumbag, so this behavior shouldn't be a surprise. I never understood people who "loved" him.
Ummmmm anyone who watched the episode knows NO ONE was leaving!! Mike was just in a bad mood cause he couldnt't find a girl drunk enough to stupidly go home with him. He was pissed and trying to get people to leave cause he is an A**!
she needs a body slam tap.
You don't "love tap"! You just don't!
He sounds like every guy who justifys hitting a girl. It was a love tap.
