Jessica Simpson has landed a gig on Entourage.
The singer, 29, will play herself on an upcoming episode of the hit HBO show, her rep confirms to UsMagazine.com.

Gossip Cop first reported that Simpson will be "caught between Ari [Jeremy Piven] and another agent trying to steal her."

People like to mock Jessica Simpson on blogs, but they don't like seeing or hearing her. If they did, she'd still have a recording contract with Sony Nashville, she'd be getting parts in movies, and her reality show would have gotten better ratings. If people remember who she is at all, it will be as the stupid, untalented, fat girl with the perverted father. What a legacy.
crazy as it may sound, i love jessica simpson. i used to hate her so much but the girl's got a good heart but due to some poor judgement gets caught in dumb situations. she's a real person whose name will be remembered long past any of you beatdown truck hoppers, so give her a break cause people do like seeing her.
Jessica is a natural when it comes to being a w****, so she should have no problem at all with this role.
I don't watch shows if Jessica Simpson is on them, because its usually stupid. This show, Entourage, will be no exception, especially since Jessica can't act. The show is also going to be highly unbelieveable since everyone knows Jessica would never leave her idiot father as her agent.
Nobody will believe agents would fight to represent that untalented idiot. It would have been a better plot to have Jessica getting repeatedly turned down by agents even when she offers to let them poop and pee on her ala John Mayer, and Joe resorting to offering his oral services to get representation for his fat undesireable daughter.
