Jon Gosselin says he'll be more careful about stepping out with the ladies these days. "It's crazy," he tells Usmagazine.com.

"I don't want [8-year-old twins] Mady and Cara Googling me, and I have to explain [a photo] and lose that trust between my children. No, it's dumb. Or explain it to my ex, Kate. Or explain to anybody what's going on."

That might be hard. All eyes were on Gosselin, 32, who hit the Hamptons over the weekend with new pal Michael Lohan.

On Saturday, the two went shopping at J. Crew (Jon dropped $423.05 on new duds) and took in the Mercedes-Benz Polo Challenge at Blue Star Jets Field. When told by an Us reporter he's the most eligible bachelor out there, Gosselin replied, "Scary!"

Last week, Gosselin sent blogs abuzz by hitting the Hamptons with Star tabloid reporter Kate Major, just days after admitting he was seeing Hailey Glassman, the 22-year-old daughter of the surgeon who performed ex Kate's 2006 tummy tuck.

The dad of eight has since gone on to declare he's "single," but told Us over the weekend, "My heart is always with Hailey."
