Jon Gosselin's Girlfriend Slams TLC as "the Lying Channel"

Jon Gosselin's girlfriend Hailey Glassman is slamming TLC, claiming the network forced Jon and Kate to cover up their crumbling marriage.
In an interview Monday with E! News, Glassman – the 22-year-old daughter of the surgeon who performed Kate's 2006 tummy tuck – dubbed TLC "the lying channel."

She added that the network didn't allow Jon and Kate "to come out and say their marriage was done a year ago.

She said she can speak freely on the situation because "no network owns what I can and cannot say."

She added, "People need to realize there's two sides to every story... TLC, they're telling something, but the truth is always in that fuzzy area. You can't touch it, but only the people contracted can see it, but no one can say it."
Glassman also claimed that Jon is not having a fling with nanny Stephanie Santoro - despite over-night sleepovers.
"Jon has a good heart, she has a child and he felt bad," she said. "He knows how it feels to have a child and not be able to afford, you know, so he hired her to give her a job."

As for her future with Jon, Glassman said, "I don't like to talk in the future. I like to live in the present. As of right now, I want to be happy. I want Jon to be happy. I want every side to be happy."

1I'm a huge admirer of Kate Gosselin. I've loved the show for a couple of years because the spontaneous cuteness with the children is so precious. Back to Kate -- I've always marveled at how she comes up with unique and brainy ideas to teach the children things, maintain order, and make their lives creative. Can you imagine how crazy that house could be? Yet, the children seem bright and well-trained. She seems like a great mother to me. I remember the moment I lost respect for Jon (although he's always seemed too willing to lay back and let Kate direct the children) The moment was when the family was on an outing to a new place/new city and Kate had all the kids lined up and was walking with them (perhaps to a hotel to check in?). She asked Jon to go up front and "lead the family" and he REFUSED. He stayed at the tail end, leaving Kate to forge the path and determine where to guide the children. What kind of man has to be told to lead the Family? What kind of man won't lead the FAMILY??? Kate was leading all the kids and Jon as well. It was a new place, people were around, it could have been chaos -- but it wasn't because Kate, AS USUAL, stepped up. I'm so tired of the game called "Knock the assertive, capable woman" and "Knock the assertive, capable woman who steps up when men fail." She has a lot of weight on her shoulders. The history is that when men don't step up, a woman will -- and she will justly lose respect for him. Don't blame her for her assertiveness, blame Jon for creating the vacuum. I'm sure Kate would much rather have an assertive husband. I BET any amount of money that husband would have been given Wayyyy more respect and even deference than Jon. Men have to earn RESPECT from women. He IS a lame fish and more. His behavior since his separation shows how childish and irresponsible he is, which makes me even more partial to Kate. His ""GIRLFRIENDS"" will soon tire of him. Who wants such a whack man?
