Even stars get star struck! On Sunday, Aug. 16, the 2015 Teen Choice Awards will air live on Fox. In addition to preparing to host the show and making sure everything will run smoothly, actor Josh Peck also has been familiarizing himself with the seating chart at the Galen Center in Los Angeles.
"I’m incredibly excited! I’m like stargazing," he tells Us Weekly, while looking out at the rows of seats. "Right now I’m mentally preparing myself so I don’t embarrass myself."
As for who the Drake and Josh alum, 28, is going to avoid during the awards show, Peck has several big names.
"I plan to not make eye contact with Britney Spears, 5 SOS [5 Seconds of Summer], or Vin Diesel, pretty much the entire front row," Peck tells Us. "There’s a good chance I might completely lose it if I do."
And is he a fan of the "Pretty Girls" songstress?
"Who isn’t! I’m American," the former Nickelodeon star proclaims.
But Peck assured Us that he's not nervous about hosting the annual event.
"I’m just totally excited, and it’s great because it’s sort of the essence of this show is sort of this informal fun, young thing," he says. "I feel like it will embrace sort of my awkward amazingness."
The 2015 Teen Choice Awards air Sunday, Aug. 16, at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
