A whole room full of Julia Roberts‘! The celebrity Julia Roberts came face-to-face with nine other ladies named Julia Roberts in a heartwarming segment on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday, Nov. 12.
The 48-year-old actress was put on video link with a host of other Julia Roberts’ by host Jimmy Kimmel, who had tracked down the ladies from all across America — one of whom even looked uncannily like the Secret in Their Eyes actress.
Before the introduction, Roberts admitted the thought of there being other people in the world with her name hadn’t even come into her head until the day a fan approached her and revealed they had something in common.
“I guess I am self-centered, and it never occurred to me that anybody else would be named Julia Roberts,” the mom-of-three revealed. “Until one day a girl came up to me and said, ‘Hi, my name is Julia Roberts,’ and I was like, ‘Wow, this is incredible.'”
Turned out life as a Julia Roberts has certain perks. “I said, ‘How is that for you?'” Roberts continued. “And she said, ‘I can always get a dinner reservation, but people aren’t always happy when I show up!'”
In fact, Roberts then discovered that this is an experience shared by most other Julia Roberts’ in Kimmel’s video link collection.
“I want to thank you for being a nice person,” Lake Havasu City’s Julia Roberts told the celebrity version, recalling a situation when she booked a hotel in Palm Springs. While the front desk clerk was somewhat disappointed by this Roberts’ arrival, she admitted, “I have to tell you my room was awesome. It was the best room in the whole place!”
“Julia Roberts’ are by nature, good sports,” a smiling celebrity Roberts replied.
