The 17-year-old pop phenom was the big winner at Sunday's Much Music Awards -- where he tied for the Best International Video by a Canadian trophy with Drake.

Handing out the big award was none other than his real-life love, Selena Gomez (who co-hosted the show with Colin Farrell). See more pics of Biebs with his main squeeze.
As thousands of fans screamed, Bieber (in D&G) grabbed his trophy and leaned in to kiss Gomez, 18 -- only to fake her out with a hug instead.
"Selena, nice to meet you. My name is Justin," the crooner said in a fake introduction. "You're very beautiful. Maybe we can go out sometime!"

Wearing a vest with a daring neckline and short-shorts, Gomez simply nodded and smiled.
