Kate Gosselin to Work as Garbage Collector

Kate Gosselin is getting down and dirty on her newest TLC show, Twist of Kate.
"I look forward to being dropped into the lives of interesting and unique people and families," she writes on her blog. "I'll help where I can and learn a lot, too, I am quite sure. (Kate on the back of a trash truck, anyone ... amongst other beyond uncomfortable jobs?)"

The reality mom, 35, laments that between taping that and Kate Plus 8, she forgot "what bored looks like."
A new clip of Kate Plus 8 (the two-hour premiere airs Sunday on TLC; watch a sneak peek) shows Kate struggling to manage her kids without Jon on a family vacation to Discovery Cove in Orlando to celebrate the sextuplets' sixth birthday.
"So much was new and different about this situation," says Kate, who split from Jon last summer. (But while they were still wed, she took the kids on a getaway to Bald Head Island, N.C. while Jon stayed home to oversee a kitchen renovation at their $1.1 million Pennsylvania home.)

Continues Kate, "It was nerve-wracking... I thought, 'Oh my gosh, they're totally going to have a melt down'.... I was thinking we were setting up for disaster."
Still, she says her kids were excited to return to TV.

"The kids were thrilled to be reunited with our beloved crew, and I am glad to have our 'family job' back," she writes. "It still makes me smile to be able to enjoy unique life experiences right alongside my eight favoritest people!"

Doing it for her show means she's "pimping her kids" or trying to get "freebies". If she was actually doing it for REAL, she would get made fun of, for doing a "menial" job. She can't win.
It's pretty funny to read all of her "fans" comments....such as "EWWWW". Guess there are more people in the world willing to pimp their kids for the almighty dollar! Kate's fans support her b/c they are soooo jealous of her and what could have been their lives - if only they had scammed it first. Kate's "fans" are all parents who don't want to take care of and actually raise their children, just like Kate! They are the ones who are green with envy b/c Kate thought of it first.
Those 'unique life experiences' translate to a bunch of FREEBIES for HER. I love delusional people, they make life more rewarding lol.

I have to agree with both sides of the fence, that both Kate and Jon are jerks. I used to feel sorry for Jon, because it always seemed like she treated him like a dog, and would leave him behind while she went to book signings. I remember something about the kids calling the nanny "mommy" because Kate was never home. But then Jon started his antics, and I've lost respect for him. I find it funny that they staged the "renewing vows" in August of 2008(?) as a recommitment to each other and reinforcing to the kids that mommy and daddy were going to make it work against the odds, but then just a few months later (April 2009?) they are announcing their separation, and subsequent divorce. I thought for a long time it was all staged to boost flagging ratings, but now I've got to the point that I am sick of both of them. You can look at pictures of the family together to see that the kids are miserable. So yes, I no longer watch the show, and yes, I'm probably a hypocrite for posting my comments here, but it is what it is.

For all those who say "she is exploiting her kids".....what about "19 kids and counting"??? So any show that has children in it are "exploiting"??? She has to pay bills some how, Jon is a do**he! So tell me, which one of you wants to pay for these kids when Kate goes on Government Assistance cause you say she needs to "get a real job". Even IF she went back to be RN, everyone would still b@*ch that she is away from her kids. It's like our society "NEEDS" someone to hate. Its ridiculous. If you dont like her or her shows DONT WATCH, but dont complain either when she goes on welfare!!!!
