Kendall Jenner is following in the footsteps of her big sister, Kim Kardashian, and is taking the leap from reality to scripted television.
On Friday, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, 16, announced that she will be appearing on an upcoming episode of the CBS police drama series Hawaii Five-O.
"I am SO excited to reveal to you all that I am going to be making my acting debut on Hawaii Five-O!! My episode will air in October this year and I can't wait to get started on filming," the teen, who also has a modeling career, wrote on her blog. "This is such an incredible opportunity for me and I'm excited for this new experience!!!"
This will be the third season for the remake of the classic drama, which originally aired from the 1960s - 1980s. The show, starring Alex O'Loughlin, Scott Caan, Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park, won a People's Choice Award in 2011 for "Favorite New TV Drama."
In January, Kardashian landed a recurring role on Lifetime's Drop Dead Diva, in which she portrays relationship expert Nikki LePree. In an upcoming episode airing at the end of the month, Kardashian wears an orange jumpsuit and spends her time behind bars in a storyline where character Stacy Pakery (April Bowlby) gets booked for having too many parking tickets.
