Kim Kardashian Insists Taylor Swift Knew About ‘Famous’ on ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’

Sticking to her story! Kim Kardashian insists Taylor Swift knew about husband Kanye West’s controversial song “Famous” in a preview for the Sunday, July 17, episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

The clip above starts out with the reality TV superstar, 35, telling her mom, Kris Jenner, and sister Kourtney’s ex Scott Disick about her hip-hop hubby’s plans for the track’s NSFW music video.

“Oh, I need to, like, brace you,” Kardashian warns Jenner, 60, and Disick, 33. “Kanye is going to shoot a music video for the song ‘Famous.’”

“The people that the video’s about, it’s like Amber Rose, Ray J, Chris Brown, Rihanna, Taylor Swift and Caitlyn [Jenner],” she continues. “There’s nudity, technically. There’s sheets over everyone.”

After the Selfish author explains the concept, Lord Disick has a question about the ongoing beef between Yeezy and T. Swift: “I am still trying to understand the whole feud between Taylor Swift and Ye that happened about this whole song, because I thought she knew about it?”

“She did!” the mom of two responds.

As previously reported, Kardashian told GQ that Swift was well aware of West’s eyebrow-raising song in which he takes credit for launching the “Shake It Off” singer’s career by rapping: “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that bitch famous.”

Kardashian alleged that Swift gave her approval — and even helped write the line — in a recorded phone conversation. However, according to Swift’s rep, the pop star was unaware of West’s mention in “Famous” until the single premiered during a Life of Pablo listening party back in February.

“A song cannot be approved if it was never heard. Kanye West never played the song for Taylor Swift. Taylor heard it for the first time when everyone else did and was humiliated,” Swift’s rep told GQ in a statement. “Kim Kardashian’s claim that Taylor and her team were aware of being recorded is not true, and Taylor cannot understand why Kanye West, and now Kim Kardashian, will not just leave her alone.”

Swift took aim at West during her 2016 Grammys acceptance speech when she took home the award for Album of the Year for 1989. “I want to say to all the young women out there — there are going to be people along the way who are going to try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame,” she said.

She has yet to comment on the accompanying visual for “Famous” — which featured the “Blank Space” singer’s likeness lying naked in bed next to Kimye and several other celebrities — since it dropped Friday, June 24.

In another KUWTK sneak peek released Thursday, July 14, Kardashian defended her decision to openly discuss Swift’s bad blood with Ye during her chat with GQ.

“I never talk s–t about anyone publicly, especially in interviews. But I was just like, I had so had it,” the mom of two explained. “I just felt like I wanted to defend him in it because it’s like, she legitimately quote says, ‘As soon as I get on that Grammy red carpet I’m gonna tell all the press. Like I was in on it.'”
