What's the harm in some friendly competition?
New Moon's Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson both have new flicks in theaters -- she stars in The Runaways while he heads up Remember Me -- but when it comes to box office rivalry, the 19-year-old doesn't seem concerned.
While walking the red carpet at the NYC premiere of her Joan Jett biopic Wednesday night, Stewart laughed off UsMagazine.com's question about the competition. Wednesday's event was hosted by Tommy Hilfiger and Quintessentially.
Stewart hit up Pattinson’s NYC premiere of Remember Me, but he skipped her premiere because he was in the U.K. walking the carpet for his drama.
She also says it's been "great" working with Dakota Fanning on both the Twilight series and The Runaways, and that when they aren't filming kissing scenes, they simply "hang out."
"I mean, working with your friends is just -- it's an added bonus," she tells Us. "It makes it that much better."
The actress, however, doesn't plan to choose her next role based on who she knows in the cast. Instead, she wants to do films "that speak to you and grab you."
She adds, "I will be doing those, hopefully, and hopefully they will appeal to people."
