"I'm not going to lie, I'm kind of jealous," Kristin Cavallari told UsMagazine.com when asked about the new hit MTV show at her 23rd birthday party Saturday at Beso, Eva Longoria Parker's Las Vegas restaurant that connects with her nightclub, Eve.

Jersey Shore's Jan. 7 show had its highest ratings ever -- more than 3.2 million viewers. (In comparison, ratings for The Hills ratings have dropped significantly: 1.72 million viewers tuned in to the October season 5 finale; 2.6 million viewers watched the season 4 finale.)

Maybe if Kristin actually made The Hills interesting.....it became boring and obviously scripted since she showed up! Jersey Shore is entertaining and not "fake" reality. Get rid of The Hills and give us more Jersey Shore!!!

As an Italian girl, This show in my opinion is horrible. it gives italian bad names, And most characters on the show are not italian, just racist wannabes!

This is the best, worst TV show ever made. Each episode has more classic one liners than the last. Snooki & The Situation are unwittingly hilarious. Both of them should definitely get their own spin off show if there is not a JS 2. What makes the show such a trainwreak laugh riot is the fact that the cast does not realize what is coming out of their mouths is hysterically funny. Here are some jems: "There are 3 crazy girls out there, one Grenade Launcher, one Grenade & one kinda cute girl"; "From now on you are excluded from ravioli night, you are excluded from chicken cutlet night"; "I definitely did not mean to bring back any zoo creatures"; "If hating is your occupation, I have a full time job for you"; "Everybody loves The Situation, babies, dogs, cougars, hot girls" all of these quotes which are worthy of being published in Bartlett's are from The Situation. "I'm goin' to Jersey Shore b***h!"; "Sam says Ronnie pushed her and I understand how she feels because I just got punched in the face by a guy"; "I see hair being pulled and I think how do I get in?"; "I like hot, tanned, juiced Italian boys with muscles. Guido applications taken here" all of these jems come from our beloved Snooki. I am 42 years old, I live in the south and I am not ashamed to say I Love This Show! Why? Because it makes me laugh so hard that I almost cry. There is not a high priced sit-com on any channel that is as hilarious as this trainwreck. I bet these kids got paid AFTRA scale (if they were paid at all), Charlie Sheen gets paid millions each year for Two And A Half Men. I would rather watch the Jersey Shore kids any day.

I am Italian and I love Jersey Shore!!!! It is the funniest reality TV show that has come on TV in so long. You have to be freaking idiot to not realize that reality TV does not represent a culture or a certain group of people. MTV is going to pick the most ostentatious and attention seeking people they can find, duh. That is what makes good TV, and if these people want to go on TV and make fools of themselves, there are millions of people that are there rooting them on and laughing all the way. They are funny because of how silly they are, if you don't get the humor, don't watch. They are just out partying and being young like everyone has done in their life; they are just making money while doing it, stop being such haters! I hope they do another season.

This show is very entertaining! Nothing different than what most of us did when we were younger..party, cruise, hangout... this is just a newer generation...and the way they act...get a sense of humor...

The show bores me. I tuned in because of the hype but it was hard to get through the first episode.
I grew up a stone's-throw away from these jersey shore kids in a town called Point Pleasant. I must say, it is embarrassing to watch and gives other people from the Jersey Shore a bad name. I am not a "guido" although I am Italian. But I never acted like those people. I would just like to state ON THE RECORD that this show is NOT an accurate depiction of people living in Seaside Heights or surrounding areas!! They just chose to exploit that certain group of people (yes, they DO exist) and it is far from the truth. The majority of people at the Jersey Shore are NOT like these kids.
