Welcome back, Lamar! Khloé Kardashian’s husband, Lamar Odom, made his first post-hospital appearance on the Sunday, May 8, episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, saying that a) he visited heaven, and b) he prays he and Khloe will get remarried. In other news, Scott Disick offended Kim Kardashian when he flaked out on Kanye West‘s fashion show in New York City, while Kourtney Kardashian‘s attitude was decidedly #NoScrubs.
P.S. Shout out to Kim for saying this about her post-pregnancy body: “It’s all about just, like, hiding under coats.” And shout out to Kourtney for announcing that she peed in her BMW due to excessive ice tea consumption. Glam life!
#Facts: Kanye Saved Lamar
Lam is back and better than ever — and it’s all thanks to Kanye. Lamar told Khloe that “Kanye saved me,” and Kim elaborated further during an on-camera interview, saying, “Kanye really felt like we can cure him through music. We can get him to talk. He would go to the hospital and he would, like, rap and sing.”
Who needs modern medicine when you have The Life of Pablo, right?
Lamar + Caitlyn + Khloe = Friends Forever
Khloe and Caitlyn Jenner were at odds during last week’s episode of KUWTK, but they patched things up in order to make Lamar feel comfortable in New York City. “At the end of the day I’m always going to love Caitlyn,” Khloe told the camera. “I know Caitlyn loves me. We’re family.”
Meanwhile, Lamar was slightly on-edge about meeting Cait for the first time: “Lam is really nervous about meeting Caitlyn,” Khloe told Kim, who added, “He said to me the other day, ‘Bruce … something,’ and I had to say, ‘There is no Bruce anymore; it’s Caitlyn.”
Fortunately, Caitlyn and Lamar’s meeting went well, and while Lamar did accidentally call Caitlyn “Bruce” a few times, it was no bigs. In fact, the former Olympian got super emotional seeing her son-in-law and shed some truly sweet tears.
Lamar Visited Heaven, FYI
Lamar was pretty quiet throughout this episode but her opened up when Kourtney asked if he’d seen Heaven. The basketball star implied that he had, explaining that he experienced “real in-depth dreams with people who passed on.” Oh, and Khloé was right there with her man, saying, “I think he went to Heaven from the conversations he has with me.”
Hopefully, Lamar will view his brush with death as a new chance at life, though Khloé seemed concerned. “I kinda want him to be a little more afraid,” she said. “Bad things can happen if you go back to that life. This is, like, a second chance.”
Lamar seemed to agree, telling his wife, “The last time I came to New York, my cousin was killed. And then the day after that, I got into a car accident, and that kid died in front of me. So I do. There’s a thin line between life and death.”
At this point, you’re probably wondering what the deal is with Khloe and Lamar’s relationship. Well, Kris Jenner joked that they should get married again, and Lamar sweetly responded, “I’ll say my prayers,” so we’re thinking it’s on. Though, it should be noted that Khloé wants to ditch their current marriage before they settle down again, “because it’s been a little tainted … we need to cut our ties, and we can figure it back out.” Fair ’nuff.
Scott Goes MIA
Tyga has some serious explaining to do. Kylie Jenner‘s boyfriend has been spending quality time with Scott, which would be great — if Scott wasn’t trying to stay sober. Kourtney was majorly pissed about the situation and complained bitterly to Kylie. “I almost wanna call Tyga and just literally go off on him,” she said. “I have a tendency to shift some blame on Scott onto the people that are around him, to where I’m never able to be cool with you again. I think I should just say, ‘Do you ever think about how your actions affect other people? Like, stop being so selfish.'”
To make family matters worse, Scott cancelled his appearance at Kanye’s fashion show after Kim invited him, and she was not pleased. “[He] never wrote me back. He’s just MIA,” she complained. “He said he’s not happy inside, you know?”
