Lady Gaga's found the greatest love of all!
At Sunday's Grammy Awards, the pop superstar got tearful at the podium as she accepted her award for Best Pop Vocal Album (The Fame Monster).

After thanking family members, her management team and others, the "Born This Way" singer, 24, made special mention of another music superstar: No, not Madonna, Michael Jackson or David Bowie, to whom she has often been compared.
"I need to thank Whitney Houston," Gaga said of the legendary R&B superstar, 46.

Explained Gaga: "I wanted to thank Whitney, because when I wrote 'Born this Way,' I imagined she was singing it -- because I wasn't secure enough in myself to imagine i was a superstar. So, Whitney, i imagined you were singing 'Born This Way' when I wrote it."
Gaga beat out Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Susan Boyle and John Mayer to win the award.

She performed her instant smash single "Born This Way" earlier in the show -- emerging from a giant egg, wearing an all-latex ensemble.

I m glad she won. She deserved this award. Madonna is Pop Phenomenon! Period. But Whitney Houston is ... Legend. Impact on music industry rnb and her status is huge, she demolished borders in music,her achievements and records are unbroken, plus she is The Voice. I think thats cool she did it, every female singer is finding inspiration in Whitney Houston.
I don't think she ripped off of anyone. She is her own person and it all of you don't like her then stop commenting on her.
Nope, not a fan of her, I don't listen to her music or keep up with her. I cringe when I know she's going to show up somewhere. But hey, different stokes for different folks, she does have a huge fan base, Im just not one of them.
Does anyone dislike this woman as much as I do? I just don't get it...her music is grating on the nerves, and she is FUGLY as hell..even without the costumes.
All I can say is Madonna was probably somewhere screaming watching this freakshow rip off her style and sound...Born this Way sounds a lot like Express Yourself & Vogue..
