We can only imagine how excited Lena Dunham was when she got the news she’ll be guest-starring on ABC’s hit drama Scandal. As reported by Variety, the Girls creator and actress is set to appear in Kerry Washington’s show, news that comes after Dunham vocally expressed her dream to appear on the series.
"Basically, my life's great passion is the idea of being a guest-star on Scandal," Dunham admitted during an interview with Grantland's B.S.Report. "I want to be like, a senator who did something wrong."
And although it’s unclear exactly what role Taylor Swift’s bestie will take on, she already made it known the type of character she’d like to play. During her interview with the B.S. Report, she added, “playing a really evil character, it would be really fun."
Jack Antonoff’s ladylove has already had a hand in the Scandal game, too. While hosting Saturday Night Live, she partook in a parody in which she played an overwhelmed newbie to the Gladiator squad.
Even more appropriately, Dunham hired the real-life Olivia Pope, crisis manager Judy Smith, earlier this year following her book scandal.
