Lindsay Lohan Moves Seat Away From Dr. Drew at Movie Awards

Lindsay Lohan avoided a run-in with Dr. Drew Pinsky Sunday at the MTV Movie Awards.
The 23-year-old actress -- who wore a Pamella Roland beaded halter jumpsuit to hide her SCRAM anklet -- was originally seated near the addiction specialist, who angered her after publicly speculating about her drug use. ("He's such a loser," she said in April. "He's not a real doctor, he's a celebrity doctor.")

When she realized how close they'd be, she moved her seat.
Dr. Drew said he ended up going to the KROQ Weenie Roast concert in L.A. Saturday in hopes of seeing the actress. She ended up being a no-show.

"I was going to reach out to her and say hi and apologize if indeed I caused her any distress; that was never my intention," he told The Dish Rag. "The stuff that seemed to get her most upset was things that I would say speculating what I would do if she was my daughter."

35I agree Dr. Dre does seem to be a racist. There is always only one African American addict on the show and that one person never recieves as much attention as the other patients. I use to love the show but now it is just annoying. Dr. Drew I hope you read this...It is horrible that you don't care about Black people, you do not deserve to be a Doctor if you do not want to help everyone!
While I don't often agree with Lindsay, I do in this case. Dr. Drew and Dr. Phil are more interested in making money and being celebrities than helping people. Also, Dr. Drew is a horrible racist. The way he treated Tom Sizemore's girlfriend who happens to be black is shameful. He preferred Tom to get back together with Heidi Fleiss(sp?)who is also a troubled, drug addicted woman who Tom had an abusive relationship with because she is WHITE. He needs his licence taken away. If that were real rehab, they wouldn't have been allowed to be together.

I'm sure he really didn't want to sit next to her either. She is a no body now and there where much more interesting people to hang with than Lindsay THE HAS BEEN. She will NEVER get back what she had NEVER.
Look how and who this young women grew up with, Michael Lohan. No wonder she's screwed up. and now she also has to deal with media doctors that don!t know her and/or care abbey all the circumstances. It's all about ratings at anyones expense. VULTURES all of them including Dr. Drew.
Thank goodness he's not her father.......SHE ALREADY HAS ONE LOSER FATHER......she doesn't need another. She doesn't need Dr. Thinks He Knows it All to speculate and put more tabloid trash out there. She needs someone that really cares for her to help and not people like her father and Dr. Drew who use her and other people to keep themselves in the spotlight.

So now this Dr. Drew creep is resorting to stalking potential patients for his exploitation-fest? He should be "certified" alright. What reputable medical professional calls for sick people to be framed for a crime in order to get treatment? He would have fit right in with the so-called doctors in the Soviet Union who committed dissidents to mental institutions for their "own good". Since he feels so free to advise Lohan's loved ones on what to do about her illness; let's advise his loved ones on what to do about his--get as far away from him as humanly possible! A real, caring medical professional would be advocating for more access to treatment facilities for addicts; not devising ways for them to enter jails; where they will probably get NO treatment & be saddled with a felony conviction that could limit their futures in innumerable ways. He talks about "if" he offended Lohan; when he in fact offended many reasonable people who try to help addicts without exploiting them for personal gain & glory and without making their futures bleaker than necessary when and if they conquer their addictions. Please stop giving this hypocritical "witch-doctor" the media attention he so craves. I sincerely hope Ms. Lohan gets the help she so obviously needs; but I'm fairly certain it won't come through the offices of this charlatan masquerading as a caring doctor. Dr. Drew, Dr. Arnold Klein & Elvis' crazy doctor need to enter the medical Hall of Shame post-haste!
Dr. Drew may have been perfectly well intentioned and I'm of the opinion that Lindsay could use some serious adult intervention but it's annoying to hear the opinion of someone who doesn't even know you. If he was truly interested in helping her...he should have done so privately.
