Lori Loughlin Reenacts Full House Scene With Jerry O’Connell and Andy Cohen, Talks Reboot

Back at it! Lori Loughlin reprised her role of Full House‘s Aunt Becky on Watch What Happens Live! on Wednesday, April 22.

The 90210 actress, 50, caught up with host Andy Cohen in promotion of her Hallmark Channel show When Calls the Heart, but took a moment to revisit her most beloved part once more. Loughlin had a little fun as Aunt Becky alongside Cohen and fellow guest Jerry O’Connell, who is currently starring on Broadway in the new show Living On Love.

“Every episode of Full House always brought with it an important social message,” Cohen, 46, explained. “To celebrate those heartfelt moments, it’s time for a field trip to the Clubhouse Playhouse.”

“We will be performing the famous soapbox derby scene from Full House,” the host continued. “Jerry will play the pivotal role of D.J. [Tanner, Candace Cameron Bure‘s character]. Lori, of course, will reprise her role as Aunt Becky. I will, of course, be playing baby Michelle, as played by Ashley Olsen, not the other one.”

The three stars then donned wigs and accessories to pay homage to the long-running ABC show, reenacting a scene in which Michelle Tanner (played by both Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen) chooses not to compete in a soapbox derby after being told that girls can’t race cars. Loughlin flawlessly transitioned back into the role of Becky, teaching Michelle that girls can do anything.

The WWHL sketch may not be the last time Loughlin plays Becky in the near future. The mother of two also dished to Cohen about Netflix’s upcoming reboot Fuller House, and whether she will sign on for the reunion and 12-episode series.

“I certainly hope so, yes,” she said, when asked if she would join her costars for the Netflix show. John Stamos (Uncle Jesse) revealed earlier this week that he will appear in Fuller House alongside Bure (D.J. Tanner), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner), and Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler).

Asked whether the Olsen twins will reprise their shared role of Michelle, Loughlin said, “Don’t know. I don’t know… Lotta rumors out there.”
