Maksim Chmerkovskiy has something to get off his chest.

The Dancing with the Stars pro, 31, has been particularly outspoken this week. On Monday's episode of ABC's dance competition smash, Chmerkovskiy butted heads with judge Len Goodman after a scathing critique of his celeb partner Hope Solo's rumba.

On Wednesday's Good Morning America, speaking out on that memorable war of words and more, he said, "I don't regret anything."

But, in an exclusive statement to Us Weekly, Chmerkovskiy explains of the dramatic past few days: "I love the show, and am very lucky to have this second family."

Adds the star to Us: "I am looking forward to next week's dances and focusing on that with Hope at this time. I want to also thank our fans for being loyal and supportive."

i am so done with Maks. He needs a time out. None of my friends will watch next year if Maks is on. He needs to go back to his own counrty anad be a baby there. I work for a very big company and he would of been out the door long ago.

I think Maks gets beeped in rehearsals more than any other pro for swearing. How can he call out someone for being rude when he rips on his partners during rehearsals. His problem is that he can't win. It's not just Derek who beats him, 5 other pro's have won and this season it will probably be his ex-girlfriend.

What a baby - he would have a better argument if he had actually won. He's had plenty of partners that were good enough to win but he can't choreography the finals. The judges are the same as the beginning so why does Maks keep coming back. He also forgets that the viewers get 50% of the vote so it's not just the judges not supporting him.

I doubt Makim's comment were because of monday alone. i have been saying all along that the judges favor Derek and therefore give's him NOT is partner higher scores. in this season alone its so obvious and the guy is just 'fed-up' with the BS! its so obvious that Carrie Ann doesnt like Mak and she uses it to score his partners! its obvious that the judges has to say what they feel, but HOW they express themselves is of utmost importance! you dont want to have people leaving the show feeling bad about themselves and that's exactly what they are doing to Hope. to be honest, i dont like Max very much, Mark is my fav and his friendship with derek makes me also like Derek. but an honest person watching will see that the judges scores Derek better than any other pro... respect!

First off----judges are there to do just that "JUDGE". Never did I feel that any contestant was treatly with disrespect. I actually thought they were way too nice to Chastity/Chaz---cause let's face it, s/he didn't dance---just walked around the floor. And Maxs is obviously very jealous of Derek. He is too full of himself and I hope they let him go after this season. These stars and dancers KNOW that they will be judged. And not all critques are going to be good. After Maks had his hissy fit -- I now have no repect for him. He needs to realize that he needs to respect the judges panel (even while disagreeing) and take the critisism and learn and grow from it!!

I Think they should let it go and Len Goodman should have said it was not the best dance instead of worse. Bruno should stop al those theatrics and stick to comments and Carri should stop jumping up and down to let every one see what she is wearing. Max had a point to bring out.

When monday night, I think Mr goodman leave him and Hope Solo alone, they did a good dance and Maks understand his right, dancing with the stars is his family! Just let it go!

Two wrongs don't make a right. But saying that, I feel that the judges get to personal with their remarks. They are supposed to critique the dancing, which they do, but they don't stop there. They then get personal, and comment on someone being a penquin, or make other very rude remarks. I really think they should keep to the dancing and forget the personal remarks, (the biting remarks). When Max gets personal back to them, they cry.

This is one show where I wish all the dancers could stay to the end. It would be interesting to see how the stars would improve during the whole season. They could tally the leaders during the season but throw in something at the end to determine the winner. Maybe Maks would calm down then.

Deb Kirkland, Have you been taught manners where ever YOU came from? And also some basic knowledge of Constitution? Or,perhaps, legal implications of being racist and discriminating Maksim on the grounds of his nationality? You post is a shame to you. Don't speak for all american people.

  • October 27, 2011 - 12:50am Deb Kirkwood

Maksim whines and snivels and pouts because he has not always had stars who dance as well as he thinks they should in order to dance with his lordship. Really! Manners abviously are not taught where ever he came from. Yes we have fredom of speech in our country but we are expect to also behave in agentlemanly manners. Perhps MAKSI needs to find another place to work since he thinks he is above his partners. SHAME ON HIM AND THE PRODUCERS TO GIVE HIM A GOOD OLD AMERICAN VISIT TO THE '"WOOD SHED".

@Miel Mani - Have you lost your mind? Are you really calling me out on my writing abilities because that's like pot calling the kettle black. Did you read what you wrote? It's FULL of misspellings, wrong grammar and incorrect punctuation's! And I am an American so yes I speak English and write, do you? Cause you don't write or articulate it properly. Before you hide in your anonymity, look at yourself in the mirror and admit you that you probably need to go back to school so you can function normally in society.

  • October 26, 2011 - 9:00pm Ann Brown

Maks is one of my favorite pros & this is not the first year Len & Carrie Ann have acted unprofessional towards Maks & a couple of the other dancers. As a loyal viewer since the first year I have lost all respect in the judges. They should judge on dancing & keep their big mouths shut on anything else. I would love to see Len & Bruno take Carrie Anne & that goofy Brooke & go back to England. I am proud Maks had the guts to stand up for his partner & for his self. I have had it with the judges slurs to the contestants. Carrie Ann was completely out of line telling Maks not to disrespect Len. She needs to worry about her self. If for some reason Maks is criticized or he decides to leave as some of the other good pros have, then I, in all honestly say, I will not be back as a viewer. ABC better sit up & take notice because your judges are ruining a darn good show. Carson would make a wonderful entertaining & fair judge. It's time to turn old Len out to pasture.

Not crazy about maks, but I do agree with him this time!!!! It took alot o nerve to speak up on behalf of how hard the dancers and stars work.

  • October 26, 2011 - 7:08pm Vera C. White

A little mutual respect goes a long way. Len is taking the judging a little bit too far. The pro dancers are giving their best but you can not make a ugly duck into a swan. They have to work with what they get. Insensitivity on both sides does not help. Loosen up people, it is a show and nobody should leave the floor with hurt feelings, dancers or judges. Len is just too picky and especially when it comes to Maks. When I feel uncomfortable with remarks anybody makes on the show, the enjoyment goes out of the window I am sure, Len could not make Hope any better, she is a soccer player and not Tinkerbell, all the stars give their best and that should be judged, not a slip of a foot or a drooped shoulder. Lets have fun again and be more sensitive to each other

  • October 26, 2011 - 6:32pm Judith Rogers

I AGREE WIH MAKISM & CHAZ I THINK THE JUDGES DO NOT NEED TO BE SO RUDE THESE ARE NOT DANCERS THEY ARE JUST LEARNING AND TO KEEP MAKING REMARKS ABOUT CHAZ AND HIS BODY WHY DON'T THEY TAKE A LOOK AT THERE SELF THEY CRIED WHEN JR DID HIS ROUTINE AND I HAVE NOTHIN AGAINST JR OR ANYONE ELSE BECAUSE JUST LIKE JR CHAZ HAD TO OVERCOME THINGS IN HIS LIFE I CRIED WHEN I WATCHED CHAZ WHY BECAUSE WITH ALL THE MONEY HIS MOM & DAD HAD THIS YOUNG MAN HAD TO OVERCOME A LOT IN HIS LIFE TIME WHY NOT JUST JUDGE THE DANCE INSTEAD OF THE PERSON AND MAKSIM IS RIGHT IT DOES SEEM LIKE THE SAME DANCERS KEEP GETITING THE BEST PICK MAKSIM IS A GREAT DANCER AND HE SHOULD HAVE WON A LONG TIME AGO

  • October 26, 2011 - 6:01pm Janice Fain

Face it Maks it doesn't matter what you and Hope do she just can't dance. You have had some wonderful partners and you have not been so bad about the Speaking Out they give you. You said last week in the rehersals she didn't have it. That the fans had given up on her and you basically said the same thing. I think you need to calm down and tell her to get the lead out of her body and become a lady.

  • October 26, 2011 - 5:56pm Russell Billard

The judges get vwry critical about non dancing criteria. They should stick to judging feet and hands and not demean contestants. They make think that they are funny but they are not.
