Can you believe Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are 25?
The twins -- who celebrate their birthday Monday -- broke onto the scene in 1987 when they shared the role of Michelle Tanner on Full House (which ran for eight seasons until 1995).

"I look at old photos of me, and I don't feel connected to them at all," Mary-Kate revealed to Marie Claire in 2010. "I would never wish my upbringing on anyone...but I wouldn't take it back for the world."

And yet, after a series of successful straight-to-video films (including How the West Was Fun and Holiday in the Sun), the sisters turned their focus to fashion, creating several clothing lines: The Row, Elizabeth & James and Olsenboye.
"With the retailers, we dealt with some tough cookies," Ashley told Newsweek in 2011. "Their attitude was, 'Who do these girls think they are?'"

"It definitely took time to earn people's respect," Mary-Kate added.
The fashion certainly world took notice, as the twins earned their first CFDA Award nomination in 2011; unfortunately, they lost to designer Prabal Gurung.
