Squad goals redefined! Taylor Swift shared a couple of adorable snaps of the newest member of her squad — a friendly kangaroo — during her trip to Australia.
I didn’t know ‘kangaroo selfies’ were a thing,” the singer captioned an Instagram pic on Saturday, Dec. 5, that’s so far garnered more than two million likes on Instagram. “But they are and this is one.”
Shortly afterwards, the “Bad Blood” songstress shared another pic of herself trying to pet the kangaroo, to no avail.
“Me: Please love me,” she humorously captioned the snap. “Kangaroo: No.”
Earlier in the week she bonded with another adorable Aussie animal — a koala named Willy.
“Thank you to the Australian Wildlife Conservation Fund for letting us hang out with Willy,” the superstar, 25, captioned a pic of herself with her mother and brother Austin, all smiling with their new friend, on Thursday, Dec. 3. “We LOVE HIM and will miss him terribly.”
The singer, who is nearing the end of her 1989 world tour, also treated her entire tour crew to a vacation in Australia, to thank them for their hard work.
“So stoked to be able to take my band and crew on a vacation at the end of a long and wonderful tour,” she wrote on Instagram on Wednesday, Dec. 2. “For all their hard work this year, they really deserve it.”
The “Shake It Off” singer and her team have been on the road since May, performing a total of 85 dates across four continents. The final concert is scheduled for Melbourne, Australia, at the AAMI Park on Saturday, Dec. 12.
