My boyfriend and I only did oral sex and I still got pregnant. So, I can totally relate to the girls on Teen Mom 2. The doctors and health educators at school always talk about abstinence and this and that and I still got pregnant. It's really hard because my mom gets unreasonable. She doesn't always want to baby sit so that I can go party. She's so unfair. My school gave me these ridiculous deadlines for me to complete my course work so that I can graduate. It's so unfair.
Check the statistics, since 16 and Pregnant, and TeenMom1/2, there has been a DROP!!!! in teenage pregnancies.. that was the reason this show was created! And it is WORKING! Don't bash this show, it is educating our children from an approach we had not been able to yet. Just because you do not like it does not mean it's bad.. I can't stand NCIS but it's not a bad show..

This is for Leah, Just show Cory where things for the babies are and let him take over completely while your there. Also try leaving just 1 of the girls at a time. Let him get used to it before leaving both so he is not so overwhelmed. As for Jennele, just try being a Mom instead of a party girl it's time to grow up, as for your Mom what a screamer, she needs help and not from you. I think she is a complete idiot, I get that she is mad at you cause of your actions but she evidently let you get by with it your whole life what did she expect when you had a baby? She needs to show you things about the baby and not scream all the time especially in front of the baby You do not need to have a boy-friend, instead take a parenting class to get a clue and take your Mom with you Good Luck
i think Jo needs to grow up and quit being a selfish little twit. his baby's mama needs his support and he cant get his head out of his own butt to realize that they need to work as a team to raise that baby. and he is not the one paying the bills in that house..his parents are so he needs to quit acting like he is doing her a favor.
this is not saying its okay to get pregnant. and these girls are trying to reach out to other girls to let them know how hard it is. ALL girls at this age are having sex. its very rare that they are not. they are just lucky enough to not have gotten pregnant yet. so who ever thinks these girls are trashy, stop and think about your daughter or sister who is thier age. and think about what they are doing when you arent around, does that make them trashy, NO! so stop being judgemental. They are ppl just like all of you. its tough enough being a teen mom and these girls sure as hell dont need ppl judgeing them and calling them trashy bc of what happened to them. This show is a great show, and has probably opened eyes of many young girls in this world. bc face it, there will always be teen moms in the world, this show is NOT!!! goign to be the reason for that.
This show is just drama ... its allowing other teens to know its okay to get pregnant even though it's totally not! Those who are TEEN's and have children you are just children yourself... I can't stand those who get preg at a young age and then Welfare comes into hand for you... its called graduate high-school and go to college... get married then have a kid... not a kid first before you experience the world... AND birth control is 99.9% so thats not an excuse if you are saying that birth control doesn't protect you.... ITS called a condom and birth control together.. and you young teens shouldn't even be having sex at that age! now think of how your baby will most likely have a child at the age you were. GOOD JOB !!! its not cool its very lame

my girl is now 18 and has 2 yr old twins and we where talking about how you needed to put a teen on who has twins . it is very hard with one but twins are a hand full. as my daughter is a twin and sowas my sisster and brother so i new the ropes and could help her but they just dont understand how hard it is on us moms to help them and suport them with every thing for the babies . when they have no jobs or education.
Leah is from WEST Virginia. I am continually surprised at how many people are surprised to hear WV is a different state than Virginia. It's sad, really. I guess the editors at US are among those...
I just want to say to everybody on here who is talking about how these girls are trash, need to keep their legs closed & learn about birth control...first of all, I am almost positive most of you were having sex at their age and very well could've gotten pregnant...second of all, last november i got pregnant while ON BIRTH CONTROL, i'm 20 years old, not married and have a beautiful 4 month old baby boy and i wouldn't have it ANY OTHER WAY, he is the most beautiful blessing in the world. I am not trash, i work full time, go to school full time and have a scholarship to play basketball, so please watch what you say because it makes you look extremely ignorant to make those generic, uneducated comments.

This show isn't causing an increase in teen pregnancy. If any girl is going to purposely get pregnant to be on this show, they were already going to do it anyway. This show just became their excuse.
As a teen mother myself, I am hurt by what people are saying. You act like you werent doing the do as well. And did you know, some women get pregnant while on birth control? You dont know what everybodys circumstances are so why do you STFU and shove it where the sun dont shine ;)
Anyone who hasn't watched the show needs to stop talking crap. It's a great show and it does not "Glorify" teen pregnancy, it shows how crappy and hard it is. Good luck and props to all you teen moms out there who step up to the challenges of a baby!
