Move over, Gilles Marini! Samantha Jones has her eye on a new guy.
In the upcoming Sex and the City sequel (set to premiere in May), Kim Cattrall's character has a new love interest -- played by 26-year-old model Noah Mills.
He will appear as a "tough but gorgeous blue-collar type" named Nicky, the L.A. Times reports. His scenes with Cattrall, 53, include a bar-side chat followed by some activity typical of Ms. Jones.
Mills -- who is the current face of Michael Kors menswear but has also modeled for John Galliano, Tom Ford and Dolce & Gabbana -- admits that his role in the much-anticipated sequel was his very first acting gig.
"It's my first film, and there was a lot to prove. Every day was like, 'I belong here!'" he told the L.A. Times, adding that stars such as Sarah Jessica Parker and Cynthia Nixon were humble and welcoming. "It felt like they were all coming to set for the first time."
As for Cattrall, who is 27 years his senior?
"She and the character are quite different," he says. In fact, the actress was present at his early-morning close-ups when a stand-in could have done the job for her.
"She demanded to stay -- she’s really intelligent and really there to work," he says.
Mills didn't have any off-screen romance with Cattrall but is open to dating an older woman.
"You always have your suspicions, but I wouldn't say I'd never do anything," he says. "If I met a woman, and she was older and I was into her, I'd go for it."
