Melissa McCarthy nabbed her first-ever Academy Award nomination on Tuesday, getting a Best Supporting Actress nod in comedy blockbuster Bridesmaids. She'll vie against Octavia Spencer (The Help), Janet McTeer (Albert Nobbs), Berenice Bejo (The Artist) and Jessica Chastain (The Help).
