Melissa Rycroft Lands a Job on GMA!

Melissa Rycroft has lined up a new gig. She will be joining ABC's Good Morning America as a special contributor, Usmagazine.com has learned.

Rycroft -- a 26-year-old sales representative from Dallas -- will appear on the morning chatfest eight times this summer, "bringing lighthearted, uplifting and fun stories to GMA," says a source.

A GMA rep has no comment. Rycroft, a former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader, was famously dumped by Jason Mesnick on ABC's Bachelor finale this past spring. She went on to become a finalist on ABC's Dancing With the Stars.

After the show ended, she told Us she didn't have any plans. "I'm not going to pursue anything right now," she told Us, "but if things come my way I will look into them. Never say never!"
