Miley Cyrus Shoots Scenes for Sex and the City 2!

Miley Cyrus is definitely in Sex and the City 2!
The Hannah Montana star, 17, was spotted on the sequel's NYC set Friday.

She wore the same dress as Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall) at what appeared to be a movie premiere for Samantha's on-and-off beau, Smith Jerrod (Jason Lewis). Cast members Sarah Jessica Parker (Carrie Bradshaw), Chris Noth (Mr. Big) and Mario Cantone (Anthony Marantino) were also at the shoot, which took place at the famed Ziegfeld Theater. A marquee revealed the Smith Jerrod movie to be titled Heart of the Dessert.

Cyrus isn't the only celeb making a cameo in the sequel, out next May.

Peneleope Cruz will reportedly play a banker in the comedy. Project Runway's Tim Gunn and Liza Minnelli will also make appearances.

i don't get what the obsession is with miley these days. she's has no talent. she stars on a show where a wig makes her unrecognizable to those around her so that she can be a pop princess. it's such a stupid concept and i have no idea why people like it so much. disney entertainment has just really gone down the drain for the past like 10 years. i thinks it's ridiculous that sex and the city would cast her in the movie, no matter how long it is, or for whatever reason. i just really don't get the obsession with her...

Wish Miley the best! She is being real and that is hard to do with every one judging her. I actually see no difference in her behavior than the high school girls today in regular high schools. Kim and the ladies on the set seem like honorable people and wouldn't be Miley in a situation that wasn't appropriate. We are judging before there is anything to judge. So disappointed in the judgement used by Miley's parents. It is no wonder girls turn out to be sooo loose today - It's enforced by their parents irresponsibility. She shouldn't even be watching the show - I don't even watch that garbage.
That fact that she may only be in 'red carpet' scenes doesn't matter. She will be in the movie and her name will be associated with Sex and the City (by her fans). The truth is, Sex and the City tv series and movie have vulgar material. Period. No matter how people watch it or like it. I'm 23 and I find most of the content disgusting and degrading. Yes, Miley isn't a child anymore but the majority of her fans still are and I don't understand why some celebs can't understand that. She is a role model to young children whether she likes it or not. Yes its difficult but that's one of the prices of fame. ***** On a side note....What is so wrong with being tasteful? There are plenty of action packed, romantic, funny, etc movies that aren't vulgar and don't talk about every detail of sex every 5 seconds and are very successful and entertaining.
