Watch out Stars Hollow — looks like Jess is going to shake things up again. Milo Ventimiglia opened up about working on Netflix’s Gilmore Girls revival while attending Wizard World Comic Con in Portland, Oregon, over the weekend.
The Heroes alum, 38, dished about what die-hard fans can expect of his dreamy character, Jess Mariano. And while he didn’t reveal Jess’ current relationship status with Rory Gilmore, who’s played by his real life ex-girlfriend, Alexis Bledel, he did tease a few other details.
“Jess is back. I had my first day of filming on Tuesday this week back at Warner Bros., which is a lot of fun. It’s kind of the studio that raised me,” Ventimiglia said during a panel. “And Jess is up to Jess s–t. He’s Jess. He’s a little salty and ornery and kind of doing his own thing and has zero tolerance for anything — or anyone.”
“But he’s also there to kind of push the ball forward for some folks at Stars Hollow,” he continued at the event. “Which is what Jess has always done, whether intentionally, maliciously or positively. He’s always sent people in a direction.”
Earlier this month, Ventimiglia confirmed via Twitter that he was reprising his role. “What a great time to get back on set with some friends,” he captioned a photo of his script on February 10.
