The Mindy Project‘s Morgan (Ike Barinholtz) may declare himself a stud in his own mind and believe that anyone who sleeps with him will find the love of their life immediately afterward, and on Tuesday’s episode of the FOX hit, Mindy Lahiri (Mindy Kaling) wants him to put his money where his mouth is.
In an effort to test Morgan’s theory, Mindy tries to seduce her colleague — with mediocre results. Out for a dinner date in this scene from Tuesday’s episode, Mindy loses interest in her companion once Morgan asks about her annual salary.
Awkwardly pausing before Morgan is forced to snap her out of a daze, Mindy admits that she resorted to “texting so that we don’t have to make conversation.”
The only problem? Morgan is totally up to make (horribly awkward) conversation. “One time I went to Montreal. I went there to see a prostitute I’d been talking to online,” he deadpans. “Once I got there, it turned out she was a man and he beat the hell out of me pretty bad. That’s pretty much the last time I traveled anywhere!”
