The stars have aligned for the 2016 MTV Movie Awards! Us Weekly Video headed to the red carpet in Burbank, California, on Saturday, April 9, to chat with some of the biggest names in film and TV as they prepared for the star-studded ceremony.
Teen Mom stars Farrah Abraham and Kailyn Lowry both unexpectedly showed up with their exes, Simon Saran and Jo Rivera. Abraham, 24, told Us that she was “excited” to show up with her date, but insisted that they’re “just friends for now.” Rivera noted that he and Lowry, 24, were “just hanging out” and “maintaining a good friendship.”
Dr. Drew Pinsky was also in attendance, but revealed that he hadn’t decided which movies he was rooting for yet. “The categories to me are always a surprise every time,” he joked.
There was a lot of excitement in the moments before the big show, as celebs including O’Shea Jackson Jr., Tyler Posey and hip-hop group Salt-N-Pepa arrived.
