“My Husband’s Not Gay” Special in the Works from TLC: Watch

My Husband's Not Gay
My Husband's Not Gay is going to air on TLC.

Well, this should be interesting. TLC has found a way to outdo itself once again with plans for an upcoming special called My Husband's Not Gay

Due out in January, the reality program follows a group of Mormon men in Salt Lake City, Utah. Three of the men are married to women, while the fourth is dating a woman, yet all of them maintain that they are attracted to men.

In a new preview for the special, the men explain that though they are attracted to men, they are also attracted to their wives and claim that they are categorically not homosexual.

One man says, "I like to say I've chosen an alternative to an alternative lifestyle." Another adds, "There is no marriage that is perfect — ours isn't — but, with our faith in God, we believe we can overcome anything." A third says, "I'm attracted to my wife, for sure, and I'm definitely attracted to men too."

Unsurprisingly, the Bible comes into play in a significant way in the reality stars' lifestyle. As one woman notes, "I get a little defensive when somebody calls my husband gay," a man says in a spiritual meeting, "The whole act is against the teachings of the gospel."

Watch the trailer above and catch the My Husband's Not Gay special on TLC on Sunday, Jan 11.
