Time to alert the Beygency: A new Beyonce song has leaked early. The superstar was set to debut two new songs with the upcoming release of her Beyonce: Platinum Edition box set, but both tracks surfaced online this week.
Following the early listen of the song “Ring Off,” which made mention of marriage troubles and wedding rings being removed, another new offering “7/11” followed suit.
But unlike the more fraught “Ring Off,” this party jam has Beyonce, 33, singing and rapping about dancing, booty smacking, alcohol, and lucky nights.
A reference to a dice game, rather than the convenient munchies emporium, “7/11” has Bey crooning, “Man it feel like rollin’ dice, man it feel like rollin’ dice / Seven eleven, seven eleven, seven twice, man seven twice / Man it feel like rollin’ dice, man this feel like rollin’ dice / Man it feel like rollin’ dice / Seven twice, seven twice.”
“7/11” and “Ring Off” will be joined on the re-release by all of the original Beyonce album songs, as well as four new remixes. The mother to Blue Ivy and wife to Jay Z enlisted Nicki Minaj for a “***Flawless” remix, Kanye West for a “Drunk in Love” remix with her husband, Pharrell Williams for a “Blow” remix, and Mr. Vegas for a remix of “Standing on the Sun,” which was originally used as an ad campaign song for H&M in spring 2013.
Due out on Monday, Nov. 24, the deluxe package will also feature an additional DVD with concert footage from Beyonce’s Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, a 2015 Beyonce calendar, and photo booklets with images of the star.
