Blake Shelton, Reba McEntire Team Up for Tornado Relief Concert
Country stars care!
Newlywed Blake Shelton has teamed up with legendary singer Reba McEntire for a Tornado Relief Concert to benefit those affected by the mid-April tornadoes that devastated Oklahoma.
Shelton, a musician coach of NBC's The Voice, will team up with McEntire, his adviser on the competition series, for two relief concerts on May 25 and 26 in Durant, Oklahoma. The duo -- both Oklahoma natives -- will donate all proceeds to the Tushka Disaster Relief fund.
Shelton, 34, who tied the knot to Miranda Lambert last Saturday, told Us Weekly: "Oklahoma defines who I am… I knew I had to do something. This place is my home and these people are family to us."
Those unable to attend the concerts can donate $10 by texting "OKGIVE" to 27722.
