He kissed his bride at at altar, now it's time for some R&R in the sun!
KISS rocker Gene Simmons and wife Shannon Tweed were spotted boarding a Caribbean-bound ocean liner on Florida Thursday morning.
Tweed, 54, kissed Simmons, 62, as they boarded the ship. "We are having THE BEST TIME here on the DESTROYER docked at an island in Bahamas," Tweed tweeted. "KISS in makeup tonight. Great cruise, first class all the way."
The duo wed earlier this month in Beverly Hills after having dated for 28 years. Attended by over 400 guests including Hugh Hefner, Bill Maher and the KISS band members, the affair, held outdoors at The Beverly Hills Hotel, was taped for the couple's A&E reality series, Gene Simmons' Family Jewels. A special wedding episode airs Oct. 18.
"It is time for me to grow up. I'm 62. I've been doing a lot of wacky stuff for an awfully long time…and there's nobody I've ever said 'I love you' to," Simmons reasoned to Entertainment Tonight before saying "I do." "I even find it difficult to say 'I love you' to my mother. But I love Shannon with all my heart and all my soul, and always will."
