Nick Jonas’ ‘Sesame Street’ Music Video ‘Check That Shape’ Is Kid-Friendly and Sexy at the Same Time

We all would have paid more attention in geometry if Nick Jonas were our teacher. The “Chains” singer teamed up with Cookie Monster, Bert and the Count for a new original song for the Saturday, May 21, episode of Sesame Street — and shapes have never sounded sexier.

The new kid-friendly track “Check That Shape” teaches kids about trickier shapes such as pentagons and octagons, and the catchy tune totally has 23-year-old Jonas’ signature vibe.

“It’s a shape that is so fine. Yeah, that shape drives me out of my mind,” he croons while big red shapes float and dance in front of him. “How it moves and how the shape slides. C’mon, c’mon, let’s count those sides.”

The muppets chime in for the repeating line “Oooh, check that shape,” and join Jonas in counting the sides to figure out just what shape they’re looking at.
