Orange Is the New Black Season 3: Piper Chapman's in a "Complicated Place"

Home sweet home at Litchfield! When Orange Is the New Black returns for its third season June 12 on Netflix, Piper Chapman and her posse are just as feisty as ever — with fresh meat and old familiar faces to contend with. In a new trailer released Monday, May 11, Piper (Taylor Schilling) worries she's on her own behind bars. "I do'’t have a home," she bemoans to Nicky Nichols (Natasha Lyonne). "Yeah, Champman, you do," Nicky replies, referring to her sisters in orange.

Elsewhere in the cellblock, Poussey (Samira Wiley) argues that the slammer is beating her down, only to be comforted by Taystee (Danielle Brooks). Even Suzanne "Crazy Eyes" Warren (Uzo Aduba) gets in on the advice giving: "It's good to have something to believe in. Once you know Santa Claus isn't real, it's all downhill from there."

Argues assistant warden Mr. Caputo (Nick Sandow) in the new teaser: "These are complicated ladies in a complicated place."

Watch the clip above to catch up on the OITNB you missed — and find out how Piper's trying to change the notion that prison is only "lesbian sex, strip searches, and naked cat fights in the shower" — before season 3 premieres June 12.
