‘Orange Is the New Black’ Season 4 Premiere Date Announced, Teaser Released: Watch!

Get ready to book some more time in Litchfield! Netflix announced the premiere date for Orange Is the New Black's fourth season and also released a first look at the hit show's latest batch of episodes on Sunday, January 17.

The Emmy-winning drama series' fourth season will premiere Friday, June 17, but that's not the only good news: The heralded comedy Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt's second season launches on Friday, April 15, Netflix head Ted Sarandos told reporters at the Television Critics Association's winter press tour on Sunday in Pasadena, California.

The new teaser trailer for Orange's new season shows updates on the series' key characters.

"It's just like the Hamptons, only horrible," Nicky (Natasha Lyonne) says in the promo.

Netflix also announced an April 1 premiere date for the new comedy series The Ranch, starring Ashton Kutcher as a former football star returning to his family's ranch alongside his That '70s Show costar Danny Masterson. Additionally, Marvel's Jessica Jones has received a second-season pickup.

Orange, centering on a group of women in a minimum-security federal prison, also stars Taylor Schilling (Piper), Uzo Aduba (Crazy Eyes), Laura Prepon (Alex), Kate Mulgrew (Red) and Laverne Cox (Sophia). Kimmy, a comedy cocreated by Tina Fey about a woman joining society after 15 years in a cult, stars Ellie Kemper (Kimmy), Tituss Burgess (Titus) and Jane Krakowski (Jacqueline).

Orange's fourth season premieres on Netflix Friday, June 17, at 3:01 a.m. EST. Kimmy's second season debuts on Netflix Friday, April 15, at 3:01 a.m. EST.
