This brings Us so much happiness! Peter Krause revealed to HuffPost Live on Wednesday, March 23, that he’s still very much in touch with all of his former costars from NBC’s beloved series Parenthood … not just you-know-who.
“It was just a fun set,” Krause, 50, wistfully recalled of the series, which aired for six seasons from 2010 to 2015. “Very collaborative, we all really loved each other. I’m in contact with all of the people on the show.”
The actor played series lead Adam Braverman, while Lauren Graham portrayed his sister, Sarah, and Mae Whitman played his niece, Amber. In real life, of course, Gilmore Girls’ Graham and Krause are an actual item. The two have been dating since they first met on the set of Parenthood six years ago.
“I still see Dax [Shepard] a lot and Mae,” said Krause, whose brand-new spy series The Catch debuts on ABC on Thursday, March 24. “Every now and then I’ll have a text back and forth with Craig T [Nelson] . . . And I’m really proud of Max Burkholder, who was accepted into Harvard.” Burkholder, 18, played Krause’s son Max Braverman. “And he’s a great actor. What a fantastic job he did in that role. Great kid.”
He concluded, “That was a show you tuned into family.” Krause and Graham supported their on-screen daughter Whitman last month at the opening night of her Broadway play The Mystery of Love & Sex. Whitman, now 27, shared a photo with the couple, writing: “We bravermans gotta stick together #themysteryofloveandsex #supportivefamily #extremelylucky.”
