Britney Spears has released the name and artwork for her seventh studio album: Femme Fatale.
The pop superstar, 29, Tweeted the brand-new pic -- in which she gives a sultry gaze in a closeup shot -- to her fans on Wednesday.
The record is "a tribute to bold, empowered, confident, elusive, fun, flirty women and men," according to a press release from her record label, Jive.
"It's not a conceptual album, Spears is letting the music speak for itself. She's worked hard on it for two years and she considers it to be her 'best album to date,' true to where she is now personally and professionally."
The follow-up to 2009's Circus is already off to a rousing start: Lead single "Hold It Against Me" busted chart records, shooting to number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart shortly after its release in January.
