She may not be engaged to her Midnight in Paris costar Michael Sheen, but Rachel McAdams can see herself walking down the aisle one day.
"My parents are together and still in love. I'm very blessed that way," the actress tells the June issue of ELLE magazine. "I had a great example of love in front of me, and that's probably what makes me such a romantic, because I've seen it firsthand."
Still, love haven't always come easy for McAdams, 32, who was briefly engaged to her her Notebook costar Ryan Gosling until they called things off in 2007.
"You grow up and you assume that everyone is like [my parents], and you quickly realize that they're not, and then you have those days when you wonder if you're going to find it for yourself," she explains. "It's such a hard thing to find. I think it was more that realization that rocked me."
For now, McAdams -- who's been dating Sheen, 42, since last summer -- isn't too concerned about her love life. Instead, she's busy planning her next career move.
"Sometimes I don't think I'm the best person for the job. That was the case with Morning Glory," she says of the box office bomb. "Sometimes I think, 'Really? You see me as this?' Just because I don't see myself that way, does that mean I shouldn't do it?"
"I tend to go, 'Is this the right decision? What are the ramifications of doing this part?'" she continues. "You can start to overanalyze. But once I make the decision, it's full steam ahead."
