‘Real Housewives of Dallas’ Recap: LeeAnne Locken Admits She Needs Help, Slams Cary Deuber for Being ‘Evil’

It may be the end of the first season of Bravo’s Real Housewives of Dallas, but the ladies of the Lone Star State did NOT disappoint. The finale brought tears, humility, love and many shots of tequila. Yeehaw!

Stephanie Hollman Is Too Scared to Uninvite LeeAnne

The episode began with Stephanie Hollman in bed with her husband, Travis, as they discussed their plans for their next big soiree, the “Byron Nelson” party — a huge drunken rager to celebrate a golf tournament. When it came to inviting a certain carny with an anger problem, Travis was a bit skeptical.

“I invited LeeAnne [Locken] before Austin,” Stephanie told the camera. When she elaborated on why she couldn’t uninvite the raven-haired charity queen, she explained, “I don’t wanna make that call ‘cause I’m scared.”

Considering LeeAnne threatened Marie Reyes’ life over a rumor about pooping into a bag, we totally understand.

Cary Forbids Her Husband From Attending Party Amid Home-Wrecking Rumors

After looking at photos of mansions to buy in Switzerland, Cary Deuber told her husband he should not attend the Byron Nelson event because “LeeAnne is spreading rumors about us.” Cary addressed LeeAnne’s claims to the camera saying, “I’m some kind of home-wrecker because Mark was married before? I mean, I’m pissed.”

Brandi and Bryan Are Back on Good Terms

In tying-things-up-with-nice-bows news, Tiffany Hendra and her husband, Aaron, decided to put an offer down on a house, and it turns out the Aussie hunk is down with Texas!

Also, refreshingly, Brandi Redmond and her husband, Bryan, shared a sweet night of bowling and laughter with their kiddies. It seems like he finally learned his lesson and will be a more present husband going forward — either that or he got over his fear of being on camera. Hooray! Now, back to the D-R-A-M-A.

LeeAnne Admits Needing ‘Help’

As you may recall, in the premiere episode, LeeAnne and Brandi got in a huge fight after the former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader implied LeeAnne needed professional help for her anger.

Well, in a full-circle move, LeeAnne admitted in a confessional, “I need help with my anger.” She then decided to meet with a publicist and talk about going on speaking tours to share her story and make up to $50,000 per speech. She could buy a really nice therapist with that kind of cash!

LeeAnne Slams Cary

Finally, it was time to lubricate the tense group dynamic with a few shots of tequila. Stephanie said about her annual bash, “Our Byron Nelson party is not a charity event, it’s just an excuse for us to blow money out of our asses and get our friends really drunk for our entertainment.”

When Cary got to the party, she was not happy with LeeAnne and said to the girls, “LeeAnne’s behavior is cowardly, she should just confront me.”

As LeAnne arrived for the shindig, Cary got in her face and the former responded with, “I am so not focused on you.” Burn! When Cary called her out on always playing the victim card, LeeAnne said aggressively, “My story is not a story. It’s something I’ve lived through, don’t demean it.”

LeeAnne continued to slam Cary saying, “I don’t like anything about you. … I don’t like the evil inside of you.” And after a season of terrible poop jokes and ridiculous poop-themed rumors, Cary ended the whole thing by saying to LeeAnne, “You’re full of s—t.”
