Sigh of relief! It's been a bloodbath for the TV networks this month, with a long list of popular series getting the hook, including Castle, Nashville, Grandfathered and CSI: Cyber. Luckily, not every on-the-bubble series was left for dead.
With networks execs unveiling their fall schedules during upfront presentations in New York City this week, plenty of shows have been given another season. Eleventh-hour stays of execution were recently granted to Fox's Sleepy Hollow; ABC's The Catch, The Real O'Neals and Dr. Ken; CBS' Code Black, The Odd Couple, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders and Undercover Boss; and NBC's The Carmichael Show. Time to pop the champagne!
Of course, many of the networks' flagships shows had already been assured their spots on next season's schedule, including ABC's Grey's Anatomy, Fox's Empire, CBS' NCIS and The Big Bang Theory, and NBC's The Voice.
Check out the full list of (so far) of shows that will be returning to the major networks to see if your favorites made the cut.
