Despite the show's huge ratings, the latest pack of Idols are the least enticing ever.
And Season 9's compilation disc shows why. Each of their covers (especially Aaron Kelly's snoozy rendition of Aerosmith's "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing") pales in comparison to the originals. Only Crystal Bowersox's take on Janis Joplin's "Me and Bobby McGee" comes close. (19 Recordings/RCA Records)
