Us Rating: ** 1/2

A standard yet inherently gripping true-crime flick. Rob Lowe plays Drew Peterson, the cocky Illinois cop accused of murdering third wife Kathleen (Cara Buono) in 2004 -- and whose fourth wife, Stacy (Kaley Cuoco), remains missing. Cuoco convincingly evolves from naive to terrified. Lowe, however, is one-note: Menacing despite a ridiculous blond mane and a perpetual cheesy wince, he never shows what might make an alleged killer tick. (Lifetime, 8 p.m.)
