In this violent thriller, Mel Gibson plays a Boston cop whose grown daughter gets shot on his doorstep. He assumes the bullet was meant for him until he finds a handgun by her bed. Could she have been the target all along? The actor -- despite thinning hair and deep worry lines -- remains forceful and magnetic as always. But his character's journey through a matrix of conspiracies involving ecoterrorists, corporate villains, shady fixers and a smarmy Massachusetts senator is way too convoluted.

1I HOPE THIS MOVIE FAILS. MEL NEEDS TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR HIS ACTIONS TOWARD HIS EX WIFE SINCE SHE HAD TO FILE FOR DIVORCE AFTER FINDING OUT THE MEL IMPREGATED THE S_UT. HE PROBABLY CHEATED ALL THE TIME.
