IN THEATERS FRIDAY 1/29

In this violent thriller, Mel Gibson plays a Boston cop whose grown daughter gets shot on his doorstep. He assumes the bullet was meant for him until he finds a handgun by her bed. Could she have been the target all along? The actor -- despite thinning hair and deep worry lines -- remains forceful and magnetic as always. But his character's journey through a matrix of conspiracies involving ecoterrorists, corporate villains, shady fixers and a smarmy Massachusetts senator is way too convoluted.

I HOPE THIS MOVIE FAILS. MEL NEEDS TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR HIS ACTIONS TOWARD HIS EX WIFE SINCE SHE HAD TO FILE FOR DIVORCE AFTER FINDING OUT THE MEL IMPREGATED THE S_UT. HE PROBABLY CHEATED ALL THE TIME.
