In the freshman sitcom's latest, single goof Jess (Zooey Deschanel) agitates her three male roomies again -- by accidentally barging in on sensitive Nick (Jake Johnson) when he's naked! Worse, her nervous laugh leads him to think she was mocking his, um, manhood. The ensuing action is labored and short on laughs. Still, the delightfully kooky Deschanel and her costars sparkle with sweet chemistry. With sturdier plots, Girl could grow into a reliable friend. (Fox, 9:30 P.M.)
